Established in Madison, NJ
over 50 years ago, EPOCH is an
after-school program serving
special needs children ages 6 to 21.
Formerly held at the Madison Area YMCA, EPOCH has relocated to the Madison Community House at 25 Cook Avenue, Madison, NJ. The program is run by Director Eileen Giordano, who has a BA in Psychology and Elementary Education, and certification in Special Education. She is assisted by trained local high school and college volunteer counselors, many of whom go on to pursue careers in the field of special education.
Program offerings cover a wide array of indoor and outdoor recreational activities including arts and crafts, games, cooking, library visits, holiday parties, and much more! A monthly schedule is provided to parents/guardians of participants.
